Baseball club 7 Crowns-Kraljevo is non-profit sport organisation, which is self-financing by club members and donations. Working with childrens and youth, BC 7 Crowns is a new sport organisation, dedicated to providing young baseball players the opportunity to fully enhance their skills and potential in a new sport program in Serbia. In addition to fielding competitive teams, the 7 Crowns Baseball club is dedicated to teaching good sportsmanship and to provide a fun and positive atmosphere that results in a lifelong respect and love for the game of baseball in each player. We are inviting You to support us financially and materially. Establishing cooperation includes your promotion at our games, as well as our web page, as friend of club and sport. Why baseball, you ask?
After all, baseball is only a game.
To the uninitiated, that is a true statement. But for those who have come to play it, study it and fantasize about it, it is far more. Baseball embodies values that are far too diminished in today's society, ideals such as patience, and sportsmanship in the face of failure. Immense value is placed on the individual, whether alone on the pitcher’s mound or with all eyes centered on the lonely hitter in the batter’s box. But baseball also personifies teamwork and interdependence.
The famous American columnist George Will once wrote: “Baseball, it is said, is only a game. True. And the Grand Canyon is only a hole in Arizona. Not all holes, or games, are created equal.”
