Clinic for coaches
First personal contact of Kraljevo citizens and Serbian Beaseball Union - SBU and other baseball clubs in Serbia was made at clinic for baseball coaches on December 16./ and 17./2006. Lecturers were Goran Stanojević and Branko Nenadić, coaches from Karlovac (Croatia) and Christopher Coombs new coach of BC Angels-Čačak. At the clinic knowledge and sklls, necessary for successful team leading, were transferd to coaches. Every serbian team’s coaches were present, and on behalf of BC 7 Crowns, still in foundation phase, clinic was attended by Srđan Ćosić. This is a first clinic for coaches in Serbia ever, and SBU announces more similar events.

Serbian Baseball Union meeting
In Belgrade, on 2nd December the 16. 2006. meeting took place with all serbian clubs representatives (BC Vojvode-Zemun, BC 7 Crowns-Kraljevo, BC Vojvodina-Novi Sad, BC Angels-Čačak, BC Beograd ’96-Belgrade, BC Gradnulica Bečkerek-Zrenjanin, BC Juniori-Belgrade, BC Dogs-Belgrade and BC Niš-Niš). After a long discussion premier league representatives included BC Gradnulica Bečkerek from Zrenjanin in „Avirex“ Beseball League as 5. club. League will be plazed bz tricircullar system (each with each 3 times), so each club plays 12 games in a championship. League starts on March/31/2007. There will be at least for crews in 1. League (BC 7 Crowns-Kraljevo, BC Angels-Čačak, BC Juniori-Belgrade and BC Niš), while we expect response fro clubs in Kragujevac and Valjevo.

Baseball Club 7 Crowns founded
On January 25. year 2007. in Kraljevo Baseball Club 7 Crowns is founded. Club is established as an indipendent sport organisation for developing and improving baseball. Vuk Stašević was elected for a club’s president, and Srđan Ćosić for a secretary general. Club’s leadership’s vision is making baseball more popular within young people and children in Kraljevo and region. Goals we are looking to are gathering junior and senior players, and taking them into training process, leading to introduce our team in Serbian 1. League next year.
April & May 2007. - Beograd
Promotion baseball in elementary schools
During April and May BC 7 Crowns promoted baseball in Kraljevo elementary schools. In four biggest town schools, children from 5. to 8. grade had a chance to learn the rules and gamesş basic elements, and saw the baseball gear for a first time. Beside baseball, the rules of american football (flag football) were presented by Football Club Kraljevo Royal Crowns, a “brother” club of our’s. Clubs evaluated about 700 students present at this promotions. Scholl principals and physical education teachers in four greatest elementary schools helped club and this happening, as well.

National Team Selector in kraljevo
In the end of May, BC 7 Crowns was visited by a special guest, Serbian national team selector, Chris Coombs, who held a showing training for baseball coaches with Marko Nikolić, chief of BC Angels from Čačak. Training with selector Coombs was verry usueful for upgrading and reminding our own knowledge. American, Christopher Coombs leads Serbian National Team (head coach of representation) is also a head coach at BC Angels from Čačak. The points that baseball starts expansion here again, in a much wider area, what will certainly include many young people and kids in this great game.

Belgrade Trophy
Under patronage of Belgrade City Hall, a tournament for winning 5. “Belgrade Trophy” took place 16-years old players. The following teams participated: BC Belgrade ’96, BC Angles – Čačak, BC Gradnulica – Zrenjanin, BC Novi Sad, SK Juniori – Belgrade and SK Belgrade ’96. BC Gradnulica won the trophy, BC Novi Sad was second and BC Juniors third. There were two players of BC 7 Crowns who showed in BC Angles – Čačak, Milica and Bojan, both 13-year old. It was their first participation in a baseball tournament and first competition experience, as well.

Bat for the game - Baseball conqures Kraljevo town
In a local weekly newspaper „Kraljevačke Novosti“ from August /8./2007. was an article about Kraljevo baseball club 7 Crowns, also a first apperance at our club in local media. „Kraljevačke Novosti“ journalist was our club’s guest and was informed about activities by Club’s president Vuk Stašević and head coach Srđan Ćosić.

A coach-backup for Crowns
BC 7 Crowns gained a coach-backup, Marko Stanojević ex-baseball player from Kragujevac baseball team „Sleepers“. His playing career in Kragujevac lasted for three years, so his experiance has great value for a starting club. During august, new coach had four trainings, improving players shape and practicing infield positions. A student in Belgrade, Stanojević will have a periodical trainings with 7 Crowns players. At last training in August, players practiced mini screamidge focused on bat hitting technique. Stanojević, is also in Council Board of 7 Crowns and with other members, will promote baseball with children and young people.

Baseball festival
On Sunday 09/23/2007. at Ada Ciganlija baseball field will be a seminar for Serbian coaches and players, and a torunament for 16-years old children, a show starts at halfpast nine A.M. Six baseball crews are registred: BC 7 Crowns, BC Vojvodina, BC Beograd `96, BC Gradnulica, BC Novi Sad and BC Dogs. Since thge purpose of this event is making baseball more popular with children, every child who appears at 9h 30`` will be involved in a game. 7 Crowns juniors will also, take a place at this tournament. From 2h 30`` P.M. every parent, sponsor and journalist will get a chance to hit a ball pitch by machine.

Clinic for Serbian coaches and players
On Sunday, 09/23/2007. at Ada Ciganlija baseball field was a seminar for coaches and gamers, and also torunament for 16-years old children. Lecturers were American baseball experts Joe Donelson, Greg Duff, Bobby Leonard and Christopher Coombs.The coach quartet beside game`s basic, showed a plenty of coach`s and player`s tips and trick, that will help Serbian baseball coaches and players in order to improve their crews. Tournament for juniors, as well as seminar was reliased in Serbian Baseball Union, Europian Baseball Confederation, US Christian Organisation and Major League Baseball (MLB).

US friends donation for 7 Crowns
At a 2007. Baseball festival baseball club 7 Crowns received a significant donation of a baseball equipment thanks to Christopher Coombs and his friends from USA, Bobby Leonard, Greg Duff and Joe Donelson. Sports equipment donated by american coaches consiszs of cathcers equipment, baseball gloves, bats and balls. Gaining this donation BC 7 Crowns is enabled to work with kids and young people in a vater better conditions than before. On 7 Crowns club and team`s behalf, we thanks our donors for equipment as well education and support they provided.

First BC 7 Crowns competetion
During Baseball festival 2007., on a tournament for 16-years old children, kraljevo club’s junior selection officially performed for a first time. Crown’s team consisted of: Bojan Tošić (13), Milica Milenković (13), Nikola Rovčanin (12) and Milica Rovčnin (14), Kraljevo team’s cathcher was their assisting coach Marko Stanojević and as a support on a pithing machine was a senior slection plazer Nikola Đorđević. Kraljevo team was assited by American Scoot Bannert, and Gavrilo Maksić of BC Angels Čačak, Nenad Jevtić BC Vojvode from Belgrade, and Mexican Victor Gualdado, everybody aged to the 15 years. Kraljvo baseball team totally played three games, two were lost, first by BC Gradnulica from Zrenjanin, and second by BC Belgrade ’96. In a third game for a fifth place on a tournament, team from Kraljevo beat BC Dogs crew and won their first competition. With coach’s Srđan Ćosić consultations the team was lead by Christopher Coombs, american baseball representations selector. BC 7 Crowns thanks coach Crhis Coombs and all players who joined our team at the tournament and all others who supported us.

First competition and first win of Kraljevo BC 7 Crowns
Local weekly newspaper „Kraljevačke Vesti“ published an article about tournament where our team performed for a first time, on September/26./2007. In its sport pages „Kraljevačke vesti“ wrote about a tournament, as well as happenings at Baseball festival 2007.
